I would hope that moderation would discipline explicit baiting as a form of trolling. And seriously if he needs to be baited then he doesn’t need to be banned. If he really “cannot learn” he will crack through the ice without any pushes. ---

The thing I find so maddening about his conduct in, among others, the 2028 Democratic Presidential thread, is that he just keeps repeating the same stuff over and over and over and never moving the argument forward. To take one of **many** examples, you can’t mention Ossoff or Shapiro without him popping up to say “Well, some people say they can’t be elected because they’re Jewish”. He doesn’t explain what _he_ personally thinks of that argument or why, just drops that comment and moves on. Likewise, any mention of Biden gets the “Biden was a great President” comment. Your opinion of Biden’s Presidency is irrelevant to that thread, the opinion of the general public is relevant. So either argue that all the polls showing people think Biden sucked are wrong, or explain how Democratic candidates should be working to rehabilitate Biden’s image. What he actually does is say something that will, at best, be ignored by everyone else and, at best, start a hijack. There’s no possibility it will lead to the conversation becoming more interesting. ---

His great-uncle, Arthur Albert Biden drove lorries on the Western Front during WWI. It’s been claimed that he instigated the German invasion by leaning across the border and taunting the enemy about the quality of German beer. I saw it in a book somewhere. ---

Good point. (sorry, I couldn’t resist) And I agree that he is annoying but not anywhere near the point of being ban-worthy in my opinion (though the occasional thread or topic ban might be appropriate). ---
