My friend is a pediatric urology surgeon and often sees patients over Zoom for post-op checks, especially since Covid. It’s an area of concern in the medical field. The law doesn’t fully protect them in some jurisdictions. If everyone was a rational actor, it wouldn’t be a problem and no medical doctors have been unjustly accused but… ---

He’s a long-time Democrat gun rights old white dude who has weird calcified ideas about a lot of shit, but I don’t think that’s the shit he’s calcified on. ---

No he’s your typical White liberal who’s more than willing to throw everyone outside of his demographic to the dogs in order to get his economic preferences enabled. He’d embrace Jim Crow if it got him the safety net for his white friends and family he wants. He’d then deny his racist choices and tell everyone to patiently wait for their turn, least we anger the “real” racists into voting against his economic interests. ---
