I broke my vow, briefly, a few days ago when he was spreading nonsense in the proof of citizenship thread. I thought I would be okay because I was not replying to him directly, but then he replied to my reply and was so wrong I could not resist. I had provided a cite that show conclusively that he was wrong (and my cite was all of one sentence long, so not hard to read) and he not only glossed right over it, but actually insisted it supported his point. So I had to reply directly. And then he replied pretending that he had never actually said—or at least corrected himself on—the blatantly wrong thing he had both said and never corrected. I could almost imagine he’s engaged in gaslighting, but then I don’t think he’s nearly so bright as a gaslight. It just goes to show that real life isn’t like _Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey_.
