I was just perusing the [Things you think you know, but you don’t](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/things-you-think-you-know-but-you-do-not/1002166) thread. He questions everyone’s replies and if there’s nothing to refute he still has to chime in, ostensibly to show his agreement, but it’s really to prevent the other poster from having the last word. If nobody has posted for a bit he’ll post another factoid. Like Cliff Clavin’s less charming but more annoying brother. The real corker for me is that _he’s the one that started the thread_.
