Sky owner Michael Alter has a response to the lawsuit:

Clearly, him saying “I’m standing up for women’s sports” is a lie, or at least a cloak for what he and others are really saying, which comes down to “trans women are not real women,” as well as “actual female athletes and sports are inferior in every way.”

You would think they’d have figured out by now that it kind of weakens their position to draw everybody’s attention to the fact **nobody except themselves is dishonestly pretending to be a trans female athlete merely as a ploy to compete in women’s sports.**
_“You have to ban real trans female athletes to protect cis female athletes from the dangers of our asshole trolling about fake trans female athletes!”_
Um, or you guys could try just not being asshole trolls?
It’s like when Republicans argue that we have to destroy representative government in favor of a billionaire kakistocracy because Government is Bad, and proceed to make their point by trashing the rule of law and ripping off trillions from the taxpayers. _“See, we told you that Government is Bad!”_ Yeah, it sure is when you do it, but that’s not exactly an indictment of the system as a whole.
