Get an American guy known for broad humor and no subtlety to do a cockney accent he learned from an Irish guy and you get Bert in Mary Poppins. ---

I don’t have a dog in this fight (except that MP is infinitely superior to B&B), but I just wanted to say thank you too all that expressed love for “Feed the Birds”. I always thought I was an odd duck because that was always my favourite song from the movie. I feel a little less alone this afternoon. ---
