No, no, no. It stands for Hallowed. It’s right there in the Lord’s Prayer: Our Lord who art in heaven, \*\*Hallowed \*\*be thy name… Jesus Hallowed Christ! It was a family name, of course. ---

Padre Nuestro que estás en los cielos (and by the way, how come we call him Father but the English version calls him Lord? One of the two translators must’a been smoking illegal substances) Santificado sea tu nombre… ---

I agree with Aeschines. “Jesus H. Christ” is just so … common. Trite, even. Myself, I prefer “Sweet Zombie Jesus”. ---

I’m not sure if WhyNot heard a different version or just forgot. In fact, the prayer is sometimes called the “Our Father”. ---

I appreciate those who complimented my post on its humor, but it wasn’t intended to be funny. At most it should invoke a bitter smile. If Jesus Himself has been coopted by a False Christ (Jesus H.), then what hope is there for civilization? We might as well start worshipping Allah or some crap like that. No, the real Jesus or bust! ---

In fact, the people who assumed you must have been trying to make a joke (since no other meaning was obvious) all specifically noted that it wasn’t funny. I’m just sayin’.
