Lame pitting. It’s unfortunate, because Twitter actually does have some problems that are worth pitting. For instance, twitter won’t respond to rape threats unless they are [direct and specific](https://support.twitter.com/articles/20169997). So if someone tweets “someone should rape you” that’s fine. It’s only if they tweet “I’m going to rape you this Saturday” that they will respond to it as a violation of their terms and conditions. ---

I don’t know exactly where Twitter should put down the line, but they definitely need to look at their terms and conditions and revise them. ---

Actually, I first saw this thread through an even more nefarious method. I have a special link that lists all the threads in the BBQ Pit forum _in chronological order_. This thread appeared on my master list, I clicked on it, and the rest is history. I’d love to share the link, but I think it’s only for moderators and former moderators. You understand, I’m sure. ---
