Mitt Romney was an awesome governor of Massachusetts (a liberal strong-hold state that tends to select very good Republican governors in the New England model). He is hardly hard right-wing even though he did have to play it at times to entertain the Republican base during the primaries. He is a good man. I personally don’t think being successful is a bad thing at all. I don’t think Obama is a bad person either. He is just a little light job experience still especially when it comes to economics or dealing with difficult people on either side. I firmly believe that both Romney and Obama are about as true and corruption free as you can hope for in presidential candidates. I am proud as an American that the choice came down to those two in particular. ---

I find them all equally crazy. Santorum is by far the smartest of the three, so that makes him more dangerous. And I would have downright enjoyed the cognitive dissonance involved in watching the Tea Party pick between two black guys, so I was actively rooting for Cain. ---

It was, of course, more important that he spread his batshit insane cult to France. Also, Romney himself, it is my understanding, actually supported the war. If you support the war, and ask for multiple deferments, you’re opening yourself up to accusations of chicken-shitery. ---

So he supported the war; as long as it wasn’t him that had to fight in it. How are the facts at odds with these statements? Also note he doubled up on his mission requirement beyond what Mormon missionaries normally do. Romney spent his time in college showing up at pro-war rallies. He went off to hide in France to avoid the draft under the guise of spreading his faith. ---
