**fisha** I can not stop giggling over your description of the chicken coop incident. I know that they would be lesser pitings but please relate both the police mistaken identity and the wandering in the wilds of SD. As a wedding gift maybe the name of a good divorce lawyer to your current employee and the name of a good criminal lawyer to your former employee, with the understanding that you will chip in on payment for the first one who uses either of the lawyers. ---

Not to question your right to fire anyone for any reason, but I hope Production Manager got a healthy talking to about being disruptive. She screwed someone working for her, that’s really not cool. Now she’s lied to a bank regarding your company employing someone, committed fraud to get a loan, and I presume she is still employed. Frankly, I’d double check whatever she’s been into, because she sure sounds like the type of person who’d figure a way to steal from your company to support her man. ---

You know, as someone with iffy self-esteem that hasn’t been in the workforce for too long, sometimes I wonder why my employers chose to hire me and keep me. Then I read shit like this, and feel much better about myself. 😃 ---

What the hey, here are a few questions that come to mind: [ol][li]Why didn’t you terminate the “pretty boy” carpenter the instant he propositiond you?[/li][li]Doesn’t your company have some kind of fraternization policy? As another poster said, a manager having sex with a person they manage is not cool.[/li][li]Why would anyone give the _ahem_ happy couple a weasel for a wedding present? Hasn’t the bride already selected one all by herself?[/li][li]Curiosity is compelling me to add this one: Where are they registered?[/ol][/li]More questions later if I can think of any on point. ---

It generally wasn’t enforced unless it became a problem in the work place and then “fucking my [insert job title here]” became legitimate grounds for termination. ---

I work in a male dominated industry. If I was to eliminate everyone that was inappropriate at some time or other, I’d end up working completely by myself. Additionally, I am an adult- I can handle myself and get my point across rather well, especially if it’s shooting some guy down. I _was_ pissed when he discussed my ‘sexiness’ with my 13 year old son. (My son who is big, but well mannered, punched him in the chest-hard- in response. No child should have to defend his mother like that, let alone the ‘ick’ factor.) Both of these things happened 2-3 days before I found out about their affair. The only reason I mentioned it is not because I am a woman scorned (I wasn’t) but because he was screwing the manager AND propositioning me, AND betting other employees he could get waitresses numbers- I was trying to warn the manager about his character and how inappropriate he was. Update to happy honeymoon-they forgot to budget gas money to get home, had to ask her mom. Did I mention they are mid 30’s? Not sure if they are registered, but it appears that a 7-11 gift card would probably be appreciated, **Monty**. No, I don’t hate him, **Belowjob,** and I don’t hate myself for rejecting him. Fuck, I’m skipping with joy this is not my personal problem. Don’t think I am giving her a free pass on all of this, either; I’m not. It’s difficult to see someone you know completely change character, morals, and ethics for some guy. It just hammers the point home that you never really do know people. It is especially difficult when the guy is such a loser. Hell, I have told her point blank, if you’re going to do something stupid and set your life on fire, at least do it for a guy that has something, **anything** going for him. A guy who at least can pay for gas on your honeymoon. ---
