Thanks for the info (for real), but I am separating the anti-immigrant stormtrooper crimes against humanity (which is very real and huge and awful) from the “gotta save the cities from hellhole crime” stuff, even if some of the anti-immigrant actions have been perpetrated at the same time as the latter actions, in the same cities. ---

I did go to the ADL once, early in my teaching career, when one of my students expressed a sincere belief in the blood libel legend. I was looking for a productive way to address the issue with students. They were utterly useless, and that’s the sort of thing I would have expected them to handle well. ---
