For fuck’s sake, those who via action or inaction helped Trump win did not in any way stop the genocide. Trump’s win made the genocide worse. There was no necessary action in letting Trump win, and no Gazan is better off. More Gazans are dead and will die because of their actions. That’s why I can’t absolve them of blame. ---

I don’t really care about the debate as to whether it was right or wrong to withhold a vote from Kamala over Gaza (for the record I think it was wrong, but I understand the other side and have no interest in trying to change any minds), but as for the future, I’m very much in favor of making Democratic leaders believe they will lose support, and be more likely to lose future elections, if they don’t oppose Israeli actions in Gaza (and other atrocities and warmongering). ---

I’ll admit I feel the issue of Israelis and Palestinians killing each other is peripheral to the topic of how to make the best impact in the 2026 American congressional elections.
