This a classic example of the game , “Why Don’t You – Yes But”, first [described and explained](http://www.ericberne.com/games-people-play/why-dont-you-yes-but/) by Eric Berne. (you would have to read a lot more than that excerpt to fully understand it). It’s a never ending game. Usually. ---

It is more proof that life is, indeed, incredibly unfair sometimes and people get dealt lousy hands that they must play as they are. Listen, if you want a girlfriend, you don’t need to change your negativity; just master the guitar or learn how to sing. Negative normal people = whiny. Negative creative people = tortured. Women _flock_ to tortured souls. ---

There was a special holiday “do” downtown and they wanted to (cash in) provide as a public service breakfast Bloody Marys for the crowd. One thing I have noticed in 15+ years working is that even the most scummy alcoholic junky criminal losers all have girlfriends. So I’m either saying that there is someone for everyone or Jesse should become a scummy alcoholic junky criminal loser. I’m not sure which. ---
