My nine-year-old son told me the other day that my farts smell like roses, but he doesn’t like the smell of roses. So, is it okay to fart in the bathroom if, like me, your farts smell like roses… or no? ---

Just to go on record, I try to be quiet when I hear other people walk in, especially if it’s a work bathroom (as opposed to a restaurant or somewhere else that I don’t know anyone). Just yesterday, I got an office, in which I can fart to my heart’s content unless my boss walks in just as I’m settling my ass back on the chair, as she did today. Sorry, I believe that at work I’ll stick to farting in the restroom. Or in the elevator if I can blame it on someone who just left. ---
