Well, sure, if for some reason the President for Life Amendment doesn’t go through, good to have a backup plan.
Bullsnot. Just because some conservatives are racists means we get to tar them all with the same brush.

But you shouldn’t play false equivalence here because there’s a difference between conservatives and… non-conservatives.
Conservatism is a club you join. “Liberalsim” is the lack of membership in a club. There are an unspecified number of club-like associations among non-conservatives as well as a lot of independent thinkers.
But to proudly label yourself a Conservative means that to some degree you’ve embraced your fellow conservatives along with the movement’s core philosophy. You can only distance yourself so far from your jerkier compatriots while still carrying the same card.
So there is some–of only very slight–degree of responsibility conservatives share for each other’s utterances while among liberals, progressives, what-have-you, the degree is, well, even slighter.
A difference in degree is all I’m saying owing to the differing nature of the two–if there are only two–sides.
