We can’t decide what offends minorites but we can decide whether that offense is reasonable or just plain ignorant and dumbass. For instance, I’m not going to stop using picnic because some idiot has swallowed the urban legend about its origin and claims to be mortally offended. I don’t know how you took “non-members of a minority group do not get to decide what should or should not be offensive to members of that group” and twisted it into that group telling you what you can or cannot say. Feel free to use any and all terms that you wish to throw around for whatever group you wish to discuss. But only a fool would think that you get to decide for the individual members of that group how they should feel about those terms. ---

I use the FF addon NoScript on my other laptop and once you disable the scripts on Snopes everything works fine. This is my gf’s laptop though and she hates ‘geeky’ addons. 🙂 ---
