…take some sort of offense from the remarks of another poster, and then go whining like a bitch being fucked by a donkey, to admin. How old are some you people on here? Are children allowed to post on this forum? Either man up, and confront the person you have a beef with, or ignore their ignorant, sorry asses. Don’t go telling tales to the prefects, you just make yourself look like twats, and oblige the ‘mod’s’ to put on their stern voices for a post or two. ---

I’m sure it happens, but I’m also sure people get falsely accused of telling tales too. Happened to me once - someone started a thread - can’t remember the topic, but it was one that was sure to be locked down. I posted something to the effect “Uh, don’t think we’re meant to discuss that here”. Same day, a mod closed the thread, later, the OP sent me a violently abusive email accusing me of reporting it and berating me over it. So my question is: do you have any evidence of this happening? ---

Apparently, given your conviction, and given your seeming inability to play nice (or to follow rules of grammar), the initial verdict (metaphorically, that is- no need to run for the hills) is that they didn’t do such a good job with you. [/QUOTE] I attended a comprehensive high school in North Manchester, and we actually did have prefects in the 6th form, who helped monitor the pupils, albeit somewhat ineffectively. Now what’s the problem with my grammar again? Is it that bad my basic meaning is getting totally lost, or something? ---

True that. I really don’t give a shit about whether people think I’m a weasel or a tattletale or whatever. I know the community I want, and this place is reasonably close to it. I’ll take actions that I can predict will keep the community reasonably close to the kind of community I want it to be. If that offends your delicate sensibilities–if you can’t stand to be near a tattletale–why then you’re welcome to go elsewhere. For the record, I didn’t report the post in question, but I’ve reported plenty of posts before, and I’ll continue doing so when doing so is likely to make this place the kind of place I want to hang out.
