As far as I can tell, \*\*curlcoat \*\*likes to ask people how old they are (she’s done it in many threads) so that she can dispense her one and only zinger - “_you’re so immatuuuuure_”. She clearly feels that this is devastating repartee, despite the fact that it is usually based solely on the fact that the poster in question disagrees with her. She doesn’t even seem particularly sure of how this line of reasoning \*should \*work - note that she asked you how old you were, said that being 27 ‘explained quite a bit’ about you, then (when pressed) said that actually being 27 was fine. So, what the hell was the point of asking? Anyways, I think I have figured out why she falls back so often on this perceived insult. This is a person who has never achieved a blessed thing in her entire life - she has no education, no job skills, has never been capable of supporting herself, has no understanding of the world at large, and nobody likes her. The one and only thing she has ever done correctly is getting old. No wonder she thinks of aging as a significant accomplishment - getting to the age of 70-billion or whatever she is is literally the only thing in the world that she has available to lord over \*anyone \*else. Unfortunately she doesn’t seem to realize that older does not equal wiser. As an arguing technique it doesn’t make a whole hell of a lot of sense, but then for someone with a room-temperature IQ it’s probably about the best she can do. ---

i walk 2 beagles everyday. Winston thinks anybody he meets should take a minute to pet him. He wants his pet jobs. Nordberg just stands back and watches. I can not imagine the circumstances necessary for them to bite someone. They are sweet and don’t think people are threats. They know what purpose people have. To feed them and pet them. ---

I’m sorry you aren’t smart enough to follow that. The difference, which would be obvious to anyone with half a brain, is that **SFG’s** being in her 20’s explains why she thinks she is all that and knows everything, given the way many in that generation were raised, not to mention that kids of that age in any generation tend to be know-it-alls. When you later ask what is wrong with being 27, I quite logically say there is nothing _wrong_ with it, but obviously how a person of that age acts will have much to do with whether or not he/she is taken seriously. Given how you stalk me, I’d think you would know that I graduated high school (back when that was actually an education), I worked for decades so obviously I have job skills, I supported myself during those decades (gee I’m sorry my husband makes enough & we have been smart enough with that money that I don’t _have_ to work now), and even in here, where I have no need for friends, there have been a few who have said they like me. As for understanding the world, you don’t seem to have much of a grasp of the world outside your own experience yourself. Now, if all the two of you have to offer is more really dumb insults, you’ll be doing it alone. Once again proving **Idle Thoughts** wrong… ---

I guess her view is that there was nothing wrong with being 27 back in 1918 when she was that age, and there is also nothing wrong with being a crusty old bag who thinks they know everything. Just as long as your not younger than her and dare to call her out on her bullshit. I wonder what would happen if you told her you were 65 or something? It would probably cause her head to explode. I’d also like to point out that she is now claiming that she supported herself for decades, despite the fact that in previous threads it was all doom and gloom and we were supposed to feel sorry for her because she lived in a house with no heat and ate paper. I wouldn’t call that supporting yourself. I also have my doubts that she graduated high school, given her (previously mentioned) room-temperature IQ, but maybe it was easier back then? ---
