So do any of these southerners give any reason why they feel they’re superior? Or is it just that that’s what they been told from a young age, and they never asked anyone to elaborate with a reason? Because I honestly can’t think of one. ---

The same reasons, at heart, that Muslim countries they THEY are superior…religion, mainly. They might say Northerners are rude, too, but I think that’s more a complaint about individuals, whereas the general “South is better” argument would be religion-based. ---

The two girls who gave me the quotes were kinda blowing me off from the beginning. Maybe the next time I’ll ask. Although the newest one did scoff and say a “nice accent…where are you from” before she gave me the quote. In a completely separate thing…I think they manufacture legs in Alabama too because I have never seen more leggy girls in my life than I have down here… ---
