I don’t know how effective it will be, and I don’t really claim to. I’ve said that Trump messed it up because he is a racist at heart. I personally think the Harris “We won’t go back” message is great and have no problem with a female President. I also think that what Trump is trying to do will have a noticeable effect in the swing states and we should address that. ---

Ok so I will back down and change it to views matter for the sake of debate. All the videos I linked are now in the 10’s of thousands of views with Logan’s video at over 200K views. Are my links still invalid now? ---

IIRC, the guy you specifically cited in the other thread had 1 million subscribers; based on the cite above, he’s being effective if he’s averaging 80K to 120K views on his videos. Based on the views numbers you shared, it sounds like he may be averaging somewhere in that range. As I’ve been saying it depends on where the numbers are located. Does it matter in New York State where I am? No of course, not. Biden won some states in 2020 only by like 10,000 votes, a half a percent loss in the vote is a huge number in those states. And that is just assuming the baseline numbers are the same. Remember that a percentage of the older black population that came out hard for Biden in 2020 is no longer here in 2024. You do see the problem here, don’t you? You understand why Trump is being advised to chip away on this margin. I know people here don’t like it because I’m saying it, but it needs to be addressed. I don’t want to say I told you so if the black vote turnout winds up being weak enough for Trump to win. ---

It says that that guy’s ratio is in the range of “effective,” given the size of that YouTuber’s subscriber base. @crowmanyclouds’ point, as I understand it, is that that particular YouTuber doesn’t have a large subscriber base, and doesn’t get many views. Thus, his _influence_, in the absolute, is not large. ---

And I never said he was a giant personality; we are talking about elections and margins here. I was pointing out that Trump is hitting talking points on these channels or at least trying to. I could say for sure if you looked at the demo of his channel it would be mainly young black male viewers. And that is just one channel. ---
