About the only good thing I can say about you is that you’re slightly less full of shit than Trump, but then the portable toilets after the Glastonbury festival are less full of shit than him. This was a ridiculous, dangerous speech. Whilst I’ve disagreed with several of the people in this thread about what exactly counts as police brutality, or how common it is, there’s no doubt that what Trump is calling for is _way_ over the line. I can’t say I’m so bothered about the cops cheering, people cheer for stupid shit all the time, and despite everything he is the president. But it needs to be made very clear to them that this doesn’t change the rules, and hopefully as body cameras become more common it will be harder for them to get away with it. ---
