The construction of the bomb sounds like it could have been accomplished by a dumb shit. So far there is no evidence of a connection with Wicker. If that guy was part of the motive, wouldn’t the attacker somehow make that public so that people would know what his cause is? Same with the tax day thing, or the marathon thing, or the Patriot Day thing- since the perp isn’t saying anything, everyone is just scratching their heads as to what this is about. Lots of terrorist groups claim responsibility for their acts because- think about it for a sec- how else are you going to be afraid of them than by knowing who they are? If it was some right-winger, well we’d have a guy with a cause there, too. I’m starting to think this is just another schizo, some dumb shit maniac like the guy who thought it would be fun to dress up like the joker and shoot up a theater. Meaningless violence from a mad mind. ---

ETA: We _do_ know that the perp is a goat felching douche nozzle. Film from the scene indicate the nozzle was supplied by a tube connected to tanks contained in what appears to be a douche canoe… ---

Timothy McVeigh wasn’t clinically insane, but the idea that the government even had a chance of toppling through his random-seeming bombing wasn’t entirely sane either. Similarly, you could have a clinically insane bomber who also has political views they act on. Or, as you say, a completely meaninglessly violent madman. ---

Based on current reports almost anyone could have done this. We don’t know if it was one person or more, or basically anything else except they used readily available materials to build the bombs. ---
