If what I just heard being reported is true, there are pictures and video of a guy dropping off a bag, and then…hanging around? And then running away after the first explosion. _If what I just heard is true_…douchenozzle, in all it’s mild simplicity and lack of vengeful wickedness, is an apt (not the _sole_ )descriptor of this…douchenozzle. ---

Perhaps it’s because I’m stupid, but I see not reason to be certain that it was a Jihadi and not a right-wing white guy nor any reason to be certain it was a right wing white guy over a Jihadi. Hell, I don’t even see why he has to be political. The Tucson shooter, the guy who shot up the Colorado theatre and the Sandy Hook guy weren’t political. ---

I’m leaning toward lone nut myself, but as to your first comment, I think the lack of anyone ‘taking credit’ for the attack is inconsistant with jihadist type actions. That doesn’t make it impossible - at all - but it is inconsistent. ---

I just don’t think our perp being sympathetic to some group is likely to say much about that group. In reference terms, the directionality is perp —\> (liberals, conservatives, Aryans, Muslims, Jews, you-name-it), but why would it go the other way? None of the large groups are known for _en masse_ supporting this kind of bullshit. Some nutjob adds a side of nutsauce to the recipe when he shows up. In logical terms, we see A =! A. Say our perp is a liberal. So, liberals are murderous, goat felching douchenozzles? No. Liberal =! liberal, and so on. Therefore, unless our perp is sponsored or otherwise an agent of some group, hoping our perp is from one group or another in anticipation of scoring some kind of political point is stupid. QED. ---
