[This just in.](http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/16/us/us-to-stop-deporting-some-illegal-immigrants.html?pagewanted=2&_r=1&hp) use when I thought Obama couldn’t be any more of a negative influence on this country, he proves me wrong. We’re about to have a whole slew of people here legally, with ID of various kinds, who will not be eligible to vote but may have the desire. Especially since the good old Dems will lick their balls in exchange for their votes. But the really Obama is too stupid to run the country part of this is we’ll now have more people competing for the few jobs there are. Hopeful construction workers, food service workers, minimum wage workers, pay attention: that job that you’ve been hoping to find is about to get even more scarce. What a buffoon! Americans need more jobs so what does The Community Organizer do? Brings in more workers. Unfuckingbelievable. But we’ll leave that to another thread. ---

It’s pretty simple. In a democracy (note the small “d”), the “good” is that everyone who is entitled to vote should have the fewest possible barriers to exercising that vote. Barriers placed require resources to implement and enforce, and resources to comply with. Make the registration process as simple as the voting process, and I don’t see a problem. But the GOP knows how these barriers work. That’s why they’re putting them into effect. ---

Obama is getting beat badly in the debate about the economy so he took Carville’s advice and changed the subject to immigration, where he can trade the Constitution for a few votes. Problem is, other minorities competing for those jobs are going to see this is the dumb-fuck move it is as far as getting unemployed Americans back to work. This is what you get when you put a socialist-leaning Community Organizer in the White House. Doubt we’ll be making that mistake again. ---

The problem is that without voter ID, an illegal alien registering to vote, and voting, is a very low-risk proposition. No reliable way to associate a voter with the fact that he voted means almost no risk of prosecution – how do you prove the crime? I have made this point a number of times. I don’t recall anyone really rebutting it.
