This reminded me that I wanted to look this nutjob up to see if she was really an FBI agent - and this is what I found on the website for a convention where she was a speaker > Maureen O’Connell spent 25 years on the FBI’s Evidence Response Team (ERT), which is their version of a CSI Team. She worked bombings, murders, missing persons, kidnappings and acts of terrorism. Not really the person I would be asking about a shooting incident.But not surprised Fox did ---

I would be inclined to cut her some slack, but the whole “he had his reasons” and “don’t judge him” is essentially defending him, which isn’t acceptable. She should be ashamed of that. Whatever those reasons were, they caused him to shoot up a bunch of _ **fourth graders** _ and their teacher. No amount of bullying or bad behavior justifies that by anyone. I don’t think she’s responsible for her son’s actions though. Not her fault that he went crazy and shot up a school. Not her fault that the cops were incompetent and cowardly. ---

Since the OP seems hesitant to respond, let me do it for him. The OP is a gun nut. He would feel exactly the same as any other gun nut – it’s their standard mantra: The gun is an inanimate object. It wasn’t the gun’s fault. It’s never the gun’s fault. Thus certainly not the sort of thing that would ever be on the conscience of a gun store owner, you bleeding-heart liberal gun-grabber. It’s entirely the kid’s fault for being a psycho so look no further. Therefore fuck him, and fuck his mother, too, and leave my guns alone. The fact that other countries choose to restrict and regulate guns is their problem. All it does is deprive their populations of the macho pleasures that are the birthright of every testosterone-crazed American male.\* \* Like shooting up schools. ---
