Only in a pedantic sense. The system is made up of people, and by my lights, the people in charge are evil. Not _Hitler_ evil, mind you, it’s a much more small-minded evil than that.

I had [this](http://euler.slu.edu/escher/index.php/File:Circle-limit-IV.jpg) in mind but, as you point out, on a more practical level …
