Are you trying to say that these companies are devoting ALL their resourses to sex-aids and baldness cures and NONE to come up with drugs to fight other ailments?
As Lib pointed out, they didn’t go out searching for Viagra or Rogain. They stumbled upon them while searching for heart and blood pressure medications. And more power to them. I am someone who has benefitted from Viagra. And Viagra, and Rogain, has benefitted the company.
And it’s not like these R&D outfits only have the one lab and it’s being used for this *one * purpose. These companies are doing their own research in their own labs, as well as funding studies at many universities and hospitals put-near everywhere.
In short, they are working on your problem. And the problems of a lot of other people with a lot of different ailments. I can’t imagine why you’d be mad that they stumbled upon a profitable and practical drug in the process.
