Have you eaten Pizza Hut elsewhere? I’ve never had that problem with pizza from mine, but I do know some people who just always have problems with particular restaurants. (And it’s been a while, and I here they’ve changed their recipes.) Because, yeah, that experience does sound more like food poisoning–unless that’s always your reaction to Pizza Hut pizza. ---

No, no, no… you have to go to Brooklyn during “Pizza Wars” where every italian joint starts handing out slices for a buck. I’ll tell ya… there’s some great NY pizza (Juliana’s), exceeded only by the deep dish in Chicago (Uno’s, Giardano’s). But I’ve also had great pizza in SF (Bravo’s), New Haven (Frank Pepe’s), Urbana (Garcia’s), Minneapolis (Punch Bros), and Hopewell, NJ (Nomad). Weirdly, the best ever was from a street cart in Paris. Thirty years ago ::sigh:: probably isn’t there any more. ---

I had no idea where Franklin, VA might be so I brought it up on Google Maps. I’d just like to say that Pond B-2 is a really stupid name for a pond. Your ponds suck and probably give people diarrhea. Fuck your ponds. Cool Spring Island seems cool though. If you click on the Franklin Pizza Hut on the Google Map, one of the reviews says that there was “fecaltater splashed on the toilet bowl” so I would advise against the potatoes as well. ---
