I pit the press coverage post Trump assassination attempt

I’m left to wonder what speech she’ll plagiarize when she speaks at the convention.

“Friends… MAGAs… Countryman… Lend Me Your Ear…!”

If that is true, it lends a lot of credence to this being ‘false flag’… especially since Crooks was a registered Republican. Was this ‘cover’ for Aileen Cannon?

The chances of this being a false flag is zero. Think about it- would you consent to a plan that involves you getting grazed in the ear by a rifle shot?

The thing that bugs me about news coverage of a breaking story is that they take 6 hours to give 15 minutes of information over and over and over again. Of course they can’t leave the story so I can’t really roast them for this.

Back to Melania, tough that she has to wait for Don’s Colonial Penn policy to pay off. I think this would be a good time to dust off her I Don’t Really Care Do You? trenchcoat.

Is it possible that the person reading these posts to you is just making crap up just to watch you blow your top? I cannot see any coherent connection between the post you quoted and your response.

I wouldn’t but I could totally see someone deciding that is a risk worth taking for their political programme. On the other there is definitely ZERO chance Donald J Trump would risk death or injury for any reason at all. He wouldn’t risk his hamburger coming late for his political programme, he barely has a political program beyond “I should be dictator and everyone should adore me on pain of death”.

Not sure what you mean by the person reading these posts to me. I was responding to this:

If it was a false flag op, there was no way they would include Trump in on it.

That wasn’t what you quoted.

I must have left it out on accident. Same post.

I’m starting to think that the quote and photo being discussed here would be an interesting GD on the role of journalism in the public sphere. I’d start it, but I don’t want to misstate some of the arguments being presented here since I haven’t really fully digested them.

The role of journalism is to make money for the shareholders.

How many are also wearing adult diapers?

Trump Supporters Wearing Diapers at Rallies

The only people who could possibly think that this could be a false flag are idiots who know nothing about guns and shooting except for the myths they “know” about them and what they see from Hollywood. Trump is damn lucky to be alive, because one inch either way (missing him entirely or at least grazing his skull and not his ear) are both very probable outcomes at that distance.

Oooooooooooo!!!

I am mildly curious to see reactions to the shooter; he was exercising his second amendment rights like a good God-fearing 'Murican, but he was exercising them against the god-king. I’m also ignoring the heck out of social media right now…

No idea if this is true, but it’s amusing.

Only that’s not like what you actually said, dumbass. You said:

Saying WWI was started because of Archduke Franz Ferdinand would be equally stupid and incorrect. Ferdinand didn’t cause it.

It is a severe misstatement, and you really, really need to brush up on your history of the Civil War era if you think hostilities commenced “only some weeks later”. Lincoln was elected on November 6, 1860. Delegates form South Carolina called for secession on November 10th and declared its secession in December. Lincoln hadn’t even been inaugurated yet. The attack on Fort Sumter didn’t happen until April 12, 1861, which is what started the fucking war. The “divisiveness” of Lincoln was largely an invention of the Confederacy. He wasn’t threatening to end slavery either before or after he was elected. He wasn’t threatening to “invade” the South. He didn’t even call for volunteers for an army to put down the rebellion until after the Confederacy started the war by attacking Fort Sumter.

Was referring to WWI some weeks after the Archduke was killed, as I recall.

ETA: You know what,

because of Archduke Franz Ferdinand

The analogy I made was between the divisiveness of Lincoln (I had his election and presidency in mind, specifically) and the importance of Ferdinand’s death, as demonstrated by their being among the primary causes of the civil war and WWI respectively.

I think it would be easier if you would try to be wrong at one subject at a time instead of multitasking.

There’s just no satisfying some people.

Not only that, but the body language is totally inconsistent with that of someone who’d be in the know about such a plan. I’m pretty sure someone who is thinking, “Okay, I’m going to have a bullet graze my head any time now” would NOT be able to stand confidently on stage and talk in a relaxed, natural, informal way at all. You’d be involuntarily flinching a dozen times in anticipation, maybe with a clenched jaw almost unable to talk.
