Goddamit, I’m tired of this. I tried to open a thread this morning. Thirty-four fucking attempts across a 15 minute time span. What did I get instead of the thread? Or, it might be the SDMB, as **Clothahump** says. It’s working fine for me today, too, but yesterday was hell on toast. It’s like that. Sporadically awful. And often more awful than great. I sympathize, **Clothahump**. ---

You mean sometimes the board doesn’t work very good and pages don’t open very fast and replies get lost? I’ve never heard of such a thing. ---

I’ve noticed the SDMB running to a crawl at certain times. I usually don’t have the patience and leave for a few hours. It’s not worth the aggrevation. ---

To paraphrase Claude Rains’ character in the movie “Casablanca”: Posting problems? Here? On the SDMB? I am _shocked_ !!! * * * **Clothahump** you may have just posted the 10,000th _SDMB is a good-fer-nothin’, sidewinder, whippersnappin’, bushwackin’, backstabbin’, etc_ thread. Truth be told I myself have, on occassion, said some less than complimentary remarks regarding the SDMB’s computer resources. 😃 But just like a Dubya-bashing thread, it’s one of those things you just can’t resist joining. ---

Know what I hate? When I post something that will mark me a clever and witty and will win the praise and adulation of Dopers the world over. Or when I’ve asked a question that really needs answering in a hurry. Or when I’m on a really good roll. Or whatever. And then I leave for a few hours. And then I come back, logon, and the site loads quickly. So I click on the MB link, and the list of fora comes up fast. And I click on the correct forum, and quickly see that I have 1389342 responses. Yay! And then I click on the thread I want to see… …and wait. And wait. And wait. And then it times out. FUCK! ---
