In my travels across Canada and the globe, I can say scientifically that 98% of people are nice or neutral, 2% are jerks, and I tend to remember the jerks unless I remind myself not to. ---

i have a plan for dealing with all the secessionists. We have a lot of crappy federal lands sitting unused and vacant. We have a couple million people who want to secede. Let’s just take the shittiest federal lands we can find, give them over to the secessionists for their own reservation. They can have their own laws, and their own government. They won’t have to pay the US any taxes and will receive no services from the US. Presto! Problem solved…and since almost every secessionist is an old, angry, white male, the forces of irony will be appeased as well. ---
