It’s not so often that the bigots here fly their colors so high and bright. As usual, not just racist, but stupid. Perhaps one of those doctors visits was to remove the ability to reproduce. ---

I’m sitting here trying to think of a reason why a doctor’s skin color would made any difference to me. I can’t come up with anything. When I was in school from kindergarten to 12th grade, my school had 4 black students (brother, sister and cousins). Not just in my class of 200, but in the entire school. They were 4 of the most popular kids in school. This area is overwhelmingly white, but I rarely hear racist comments here. I guess I’m lucky. I rarely hear many racist comments ---

Skin color isn’t important, but I prefer a PCP close to me in age. Maybe I’m ageist. ---

I think a lot of people have this idea that the person who accommodated the request must have been a Manager (capital M) with lots of authority and training. I initially thought you were just saying you wouldn’t want to be treated by your friends who are doctors or dentists, but then at the end you said “but I’m not a racist.” So I have no clue what you meant, but if you avoid some of your “friends” because of their race, you’re a racist. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a horrible person, just that you’re more honest than most people. ---
