I feel that sufficient time has passed to change the attitudes of so many Americans that I can now state openly without fear of censure, “I oppose illness!” ---

missed the edit window - As a precaution, I have been spraying the bathroom with lysol everytime I used it while sick ( and still have been, just in case) to prevent it spreading, and washed all my sheets and blankets, and sprayed the room and bed with lysol also. I used the same two water bottles for water and ginger ale to limit exposure. I limited myself to the bedroom and bathroom as much as possible. Hopefully this works and no one else gets sick. ---

Ugh. The worst case of the stomach flu I had was when I was ten-years-old, and I puked _nine-times_ within about five hours. My ribs and my chest muscles hurt like hell. For about three months after that, whenever I got the tiniest bit of a stomachache, I’d panic and think I was going to get sick again. ---

It was bad enough as an adult, for a child it has to be brutal agonizing hell. ---

Yep. Like I said, it left me freaked out as hell for months after that. (The funniest thing is that then my stomach would get upset from nerves, which would only make it worse!) ---

Oh, man. The bad thing is, unlike drinking back in college I can’t make myself feel slightly better by swearing to never do this again. The good thing is that, lying here flat on my back, I can actually browse the Internet on my iPad, at least in short bursts.
