Nothing new under the sun, as they say. Asymetrical warfare is a bitch. But listen up when I say this… it was always gonna happen, sooner or later. We can say that now, with hindsight, but the Middle East was always gonna bust open, somewhere, somehow. Now it’s happening. It’s a region rife with feifdoms and nepotism and corruption. Lots of culture too, but the former outweighs the latter I rather think. Even Collounsbury himself back in 2003 was surprised how rapid was the descent into full on barbarism. ---

[/QUOTE] In my book when you see a bomb you don’t kick it. Even less do you send in your sons and daughters to strike matches. Besides I don’t think there was anything inevitable about this. It is due first to the decision to invade (particularly without international support), second it was due to the incompetent plan that made no allowance for realities (and left huge arms dumps unsecured) and third it was due to the ideologically driven incompetence of the aftermath. There 's no ‘out’ for the guilty parties and those who cheered them on in pretending the whole thing is just some inevitable natural catastrophe. It is man made by Bush and his PNAC conspirators who seized on 9/11 as an excuse to carry out their long urged policies, it is the fault of the politicians who didn’t stop them and the electorate too stupid or too bent on revenge to care, the media who aided and abetted in the spread of lies by commission and ommission, and it is the fault of all those murdering savages who think anything is permissible in the name of whatever variant of their non-existent god underpins their collective delusions. ---

In the same interview he accuses Pelosi and Murtha of helping further al-Qaida’s goals (nudge nudge wink wink… ya fuckin’ pinkos!) while saying Britain’s withdrawal is a _victory_!
