This is where I pull out my story of when I was a Girl Scout and our troop leader absconded with the cookie money. My brother’s band teacher in high school did the same thing with the money the band raised by selling candles. We didn’t have good luck with fundraisers when we were kids. (When I was a Brownie, our troop fell apart when one of our co-leaders ran away with the other co-leader’s husband.) ---

I gotta say, I loved (and was kinda disturbed) by the redhead finishing answering “why did you do that” with “I don’t know, this little girl had money, and it was sitting on the table, and I wanted it and **it was mine, so**.” (emphasis mine) I mean, desire equals property, doesn’t it ?
