As a side not, most people don’t realize because India didn’t agree to the test ban, they have been an excluded “bad” nation for 35 years. No help with their nuclear program, no associations, no new tech or even advice. What the west didn’t realize until of late, is they moved forward with Thorium research (they have a lot of Thorium) and may very well lead the world in thorium reactors, which are far safer than the plutonium making ones everybody currently uses. ---

It would be nice to get one to work, at a cost cheaper than the current tech. Especially if you could dump waste into it. The obstacle is the plutonium has to be removed first, which takes it right back to one of the current big nuclear problems. The plutonium. (as well as the other “waste” products) ---
