I pit unsafe nuclear energy

Inb4denialism

Also seriously? If I may offer a suggestion: a land-locked power plant doesn’t need tsunami protection. One on the middle of a tectonic plate does not need earthquake protection. Et cetera.

Seriously, FX, this thread ended last time you made it because everyone got sick of putting up with your crappy misinformation and the like.

Seeing as we’re all agreed that safe nuclear power is a great idea, I’m sure all (OP included) will be thrilled by this:

Speak for yourself missy. I love this guy and I find his threads intellectually exciting. I can also tell you from first hand experience that his penis is quite large. His penis is so grand that other penis’ go flaccid and bow in its presence. You could only dream of such a glorious penis and if you are lucky in this life you might be blessed to find a penis that is half as stupendous and lucious as his.
[/QUOTE]

Well sure, but to a smurf a penis the size of a pinky is going to look mammoth sized. :stuck_out_tongue: The fact that you have ‘first hand’ experience means you can get your tiny smurf paws around his penis…not exactly a glowing endorsement there!

As a side not, most people don’t realize because India didn’t agree to the test ban, they have been an excluded “bad” nation for 35 years. No help with their nuclear program, no associations, no new tech or even advice. What the west didn’t realize until of late, is they moved forward with Thorium research (they have a lot of Thorium) and may very well lead the world in thorium reactors, which are far safer than the plutonium making ones everybody currently uses.

The ones cooled by liquid sodium have always had extreme engineering problems. It would be nice to get one to work, at a cost cheaper than the current tech. Especially if you could dump waste into it. The obstacle is the plutonium has to be removed first, which takes it right back to one of the current big nuclear problems.

The plutonium. (as well as the other “waste” products)

At the risk of interrupting a stellar rant, in what language does one make a noun plural by putting an apostrophe after it? Or were you intending to convey that the OPer’s penis is the proud owner of a “go”? FYI, the correct pluralization, according the fine staff of SD, is either “penises” or “penes.” Though you’ll probably be laughed at if you use the latter.

It’s an extra shame because you got bonus points for not putting an apostrophe in “its”!

Carry on.

As a side notE, I believe that GIGO and several others brought up thorium reactors and traveling wave reactors several times in that series of cluster fuck anti-nuclear spew threads you were in. Had you been able to wipe the foam off your screen you could have known about this stunning development months ago…

Bullshit of course. Nobody brought up India in any of those threads. The thorium reactors yes, but not India’s program. And I learned about thorium reactors BECAUSE of those threads, which I clearly noted in them.

There are plenty of sites out there that will host blogs. Why the fuck do feel the need to post your blog here? We don’t like you. Go away. Anyone that said they do like you is being sarcastic. We really don’t like you.

Who fucking cares? Go get laid or something.

Are you sure about that? If I find an instance where India was brought up wrt thorium reactors would you agree to go away, or at least refrain from posting any more spew-age about nuclear energy for, oh, say 6 months?

:dubious: You seem incapable of learning or absorbing anything concerning this particular subject (giving you the benefit of the doubt that you could on some other subject here).

You have so poisoned the well (tossed down a shark, jumped the well, then beat your horse to death mid-stream while trying to check it’s teeth) on this subject that, frankly, nothing you say at this point is going to be taken seriously, much less believed. There was only a handful (not counting Drunky Smurf, but that was a different handful) of 'dopers who took you seriously, and of those your biggest proponent, The Gonz, is sadly no longer with us.

I also thought one-trick ponies weren’t supposed to be particularly welcome around here.

My cat’s breath smells like nuclear waste.

Deal with it.

If you agree to the same terms, of course. If there is no discussion of India’s thorium program, you leave. Deal?

Thorium? Damn near killed 'em!

I’d claim to be disappointed at this claim, but it’s not as if I was expecting any better from you.

And to quote from that link:

Here is a picture of some daffodils.

Before reading the first post I was totally for blowing shit apart, core reactor meltdowns, 3 eyed fish, babies with cancer, and throwing money away on ancient technology. But now I just dunno anymore…

Maybe a poll is in order:

Are you for unsafe nuclear energy? yes/no

I was expecting a picture of a little girl picking daffodils with an UNSAFE NUCLEAR REACTOR looming in the background. I can’t begin to express my disappointment in you.

You had thirty pages of this crap in the previous thread. No more. The BBQ Pit is not your personal anti-nuke blog, FXMastermind. I don’t want to see any more pit threads on the subject from you. And I don’t want to see you hijacking unrelated threads to rant about the subject. Find a new topic.

This thread is closed.
