Not that big a deal. Protonix or Prilosec, prescription strength, is controlling mine.

[That depends on what bacteria are causing the food poisoning.](http://www.chclibrary.org/micromed/00048630.html) Symptoms can appear up to five days after eating something contaminated with _Campylobacter_, or up to 72 hours after eating something contaminated with _Shigella_, _Salmonella_, or _E. coli_.
