You know, having myself been accused of any number of bizarre practices, beliefs, and lies, your ire at being merely seen as a moron over here and an idiot over there is indescribably hilarious. Then you try to link the anon journals over here. Then you fly into a litany of insults, most of which you wouldn’t have thought of, were you NOT an avid reader - and, likely as not, anonymous poster - on the anon boards. I very highly recommend getting yourself a Livejournal ([www.livejournal.com](http://www.livejournal.com)) and getting your other half a Livejournal as well. Put yourselves on each other’s friends lists and you’ll be able to argue back and forth about your petty spousal problems in “public” without holding the SDMB hostage to your depressingly amusing play about the flaws in interpersonal relationships. Hell, join the SDMB LJ community and the people who read ITS friends list will STILL be assaulted by your self-centered need to air your personal problems in public, so you’ll still get the bass-ackwards ego strokes on which you’ve apparently become dependent. ---

What gets me is that the rant isn’t even really dope specific. Sure there are dopers here that are into D&D. Posts in this thread prove that. But it’s not as if it’s a huge topic here. There isn’t even a thread about d&d on the front of CS. We do have quite a few comic book geeks, movie geeks, tv geeks, and video game geeks. There are even a few foodies running around. You could even go really big and refer to us as a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals who aren’t nearly as smart or as wise as we seem to think we are. Nope. All we get is the same old tired “D&D can’t get laid won’t go outside” routine. I guess we just aren’t worth the effort. ☹ _sniff_ ---

Personally, I find your posts about your married life trite and trivial rather than amusing. The foibles of Ink and DRG are neither especially entertaining or unusual. Just more petty squabbling. Is your marriage so fragile that you desperately need the attention of strangers to keep it going? ---

I think that if there’s a sorry factor to the board, it’s just how often people complain about one another. I think yesterday the first five threads were of the sort, “so-and-so, you suck.” At least you are efficient, with the scattershot method, and don’t feel a need to dress down each other poster as an individal. Now, what are all the removed links? You don’t have to link back to them, but you make a man curious what is being sanitized, presumably for his own good. Is it porn? Personal websites? Other discussion boards? What? ---
