I don’t think Beck is doing it as parody. I think he thinks his followers think (still with me?) that _the same people_ who “are behind, made, like, or support” _Piss Christ_ also like Obama, and this is _getting back at_ that monolithic block. Of course, I _don’t_ think that everyone who liked _Piss Christ_ is an Obama supporter; frankly, the far left is pretty disenchanted with him. So I think _Piss Obama_ is not pissing off the _Piss Christ_ people Beck’s pissed at. But I’m not surprised he’s missing who he’s dissing with his _Pissing_. ---

What happened to the conservative cry, “our President, right or wrong.” I guess that only applies if the guy is starting a war. A thought that crosses my mind is that Ghandi used to drink his own piss. He thought it was healthy. Maybe 'Piss Christ" and “Pee-Pee Obama” are not offensive at all. We do know that Obama likes to have a beer now and then. Maybe Beck was honoring him. There are days when I feel like soaking in a barrel of beer. That said, Beck is a pond scum idiot. Money rich does not make good or right or honorable. (Exhibit 1, Donald Trump. Exhibit 2, Limbaugh. I’ll stop right there because the assertion is proven.) ---

You know what, I take that back. Some crackpots probably do think Obama is the Messiah. I still think your examples were a poor demonstration of the point you were trying to prove. Only one of them explicitly compared Obama to God, the rest were just art pieces and photographs combining faith with imagery of Obama.
