Try hearing that sort of thing every other day. My history permanent substitute always speaks like this. For example, she told us that we had to take something “serious.”
Gotta say, I speak like this quite a much. Ze Germans, when they don’t have to worry about gender agreement with adjectives, don’t distinguish between adjectives and adverbs. Seems more elegant to me, so when I noticed similar constructions slipping into my English speech, I chose not to fight it.
