I find Cheese Whiz fun. With impeccably clean fingers I dipped right in the jar. Then I spooned some over ritz crackers. It’s good.
I’ve never did the squirt cheese. My kids used to like it.
Dang it. Now I gotta go look at the cracker aisle.

Easy Cheese…man, that takes me back. My first week at college, the cafeteria wasn’t open (long story) and I had five dollars for meals for the week. I was VERY hungry. The kid across the hall gave me some crackers and let me use her Easy Cheese. Heaven on a cracker!
I can’t eat it now…too fattening. But yum!

At 7:30 Ante Meridian, before taking an Electronics III test, I ate a foot long chili dog at the Student Union, hoping that I would die. I obviously lived and less obviously passed the final.I bought Cheez-Whiz in an effort to make Beffy Cheddars with shaved beef (see above) and was ridiculed by Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) and step daughter (v.3.0).

It’s not the same, but thinly sliced bologna and/or salami fried up in a good cast iron pan (cast iron makes everything taste better) can be a close approximation…
now can we raise a glass in tribute to the passing of the humble PB Max candy bar? peanut butter candy bar that was done _RIGHT!_
I’ll join your request for bringing back the Steak-Ums, if you’ll join me in requesting the return of the PB Max, we can offer up the McRib in sacrifice, nobody’ll miss those… 😉

Not bock—it’s BLOCK
Recipe for ridiculously good, ridiculously easy to make cheese dip
One 2-pound package of Velveeta (cheapie store brand okay)
One 14-ounce can of diced tomatoes
One small can of diced chiles (if you want HOT use diced jalapenos)
Cut up Velveeta into 1/2 inch cubes.
Hard way: use extra large skillet, nonstick is best. Dump diced tomatoes with juice and diced chiles into skillet, heat over medium-low heat until bubbly. Stir in Velveeta cubes a handful at a time, until melted. Keep adding more Velveeta cubes a handful at a time, stirring until melted.
Once all Velveeta has melted, pour into serving dish. Put skillet in sink, fill with soapy water and a bit of bleach, and soak for 3 days or so…
Easy way: dump everything in crockpot, cook on low, stirring occasionally.
Use as dip for tortilla chips, potato chips, raw veggies, fingers…
Great on baked potatoes, meatloaf, pork chops, ice cream…
If you take this to parties, you will bring home a sparkling clean serving dish, because people will LICK it clean!

I dated a guy from Camden once. He took me to his neighborhood cheesteak guy and I made the mistake of ordering it with provolone. He literally walked out on me while the patrons all hooted and hollered at me. Mmmm hmm. I mean, he coulda warned me that was a booby trap on the menu. . . Game Over!
Becks - just go to the Deli counter and ask them to slice some roast beef super fine for you. Fry that up when you want a sandwich - it will taste the same.

In my area only Kroger and Wal-mart are listed as stocking them. And yeah, they are a useful product, although I don’t buy them very often.

This works, too. For our Cheese Dip fans, though, Ro-Tel tomatoes and chiles just doesn’t quite have enough pizzazz. We add a small can of diced chiles to the mix.
Seriously, though, this so GOOD on almost everything!
