I had it today, jerk manager told me I _had_ to come to work today, he didn’t care if I had a sick kid, he had plans and wouldn’t work. I covered for him on Saturday, he wouldn’t cover for me today. Screw him. ---

I am loving it, I can’t wait to get back to tucking the kids in bed everynight with a song. I hope my son doesn’t think he is too old for it. misskid2 has not gotten sick for 3 hours now. She felt like eating a little soup for supper. ---

Yummy. You know I have only officially been unemployeed for about 3 hours, and I am loving it. I gave misskid3 a bubble bath, trimmed her bangs, and tucked her in with lots of kisses. This is the first Monday in a very long time that I have been home. ( I gave the other misskids lots of kisses, too ) ---

Darn the luck, I was awake before any of the misskids got out of bed. Its nice to lounge about in my jammies. So far today, I have vacuumed the living room and dining room, did a load of laundry, persuaded the two older misskids to take a shower. When they are dressed, I will get dressed and off we go. We are going to pick up some groceries with out having to rush through the store. Then come home. Not go to the sitters house, we’re coming home. I am so excited. ---

Unemployment is wonderful for about two weeks. Then the whole “domestic engineer” thing starts to suck. I s’pose it’s different when you have a houseful of keeblers, but when it’s just little ol’ you and eight hours of bad tv, work starts to look vellly intellesting, my dear. But fuck your jerky boss. That job you DON’T need. ---

Good for you **misstee**! Enjoy every minute. I remember when you got stuck in the snow storm and couldn’t see you family because of that job. Considering all the hours you have been working, they are going to miss you I’m sure. Maybe you’ll even get the satisfaction of a phone call pleading you to work a few hours. If so, say you’ll think about it for about half an hour and then say NWIH! ---

I can’t wait to go in to pick up my paycheck ( today is our payday ) and see the Area General Manager. She is working the hours I was supposed to work today.
