I’m okay. I can’t really put into words the way I’m feeling right now. It’s just an incredibly sad and lonely time. I don’t really have any close friends to talk to about it. Given my family situation, I’m so busy dealing with everybody else’s problems that I never have the time or audience to deal with my own. I just grind my teeth and try to keep it all in. It hit me hard on Wednesday night. I apologize if I scared anybody: I’m currently wanted for over-dramtaization in 17 counties in 6 different states. Please be sure that I’m not suicidal or anything. I’ll be okay. I wish there were time to respond personally to everyone who posted here. And thanks to evryone who sent an e-mail. I’ll try to answer them as I get the chance, but be patient. I’ll be around. We will still be putting out “Teemings”, so keep those cards and letters coming in (or, in the case of some of you, just keep those cards and letters.) Behave while I’m gone. ---

Patrick, I’m relieved to see that you replied to all the worried people of Straightdopia. You can see that you’re very cared for and loved here. However, I can understand why you’d want close friends to talk to. Though I talk to people on this board about my problems and I get lots of love and support, it’s still not the same as having a flesh-and-blood person right there to be with. I hope that you can find someone to confide in. I know that back in the old AOL-board days you were having family problems and such, but lately in this vast web board it’s been hard to keep up with the people I once felt closer to. Know what, Euty? I quit, too. What do you say that we quit together, and run off to some tropical island as well? I have had three major life blows this week, and I am reduced to wondering whether or not it is worth the pain in order to remain in mainstream society. So, what do you say? We could slink off to some off-the-beaten path, trailing our loved ones behind us. Even if they don’t particularly want to come. [sub]We may just have to drug them and load them into the hold of the boat, but I am sure they will be happy once we get there.
