# I \*really\* have a date!

Well, that’s that.

We didn’t hit it off on Saturday, and today I got a nicely-written note from her confirming this from her end and thanking me for a pleasant time. I was planning to write a similar note this evening, but was scratching my head over it, wondering whether I was imagining things or not, and totally uncertain of her feelings.

I am strangely-relieved and almost happy; in some way I feel that I have negotiated one of life’s rapids in a civilised way that I have never done before. I can move on, and so can she.

I’s summer!
