I donât recall any random thoughts, but I will share what is in my head at the moment. Itâs a song. A really annoying song. And it wonât go away, and I donât know where it came from (today at least). Itâs a song from a movie that was barely a speedbump in the teen movies of the early '80âs. It was by an artist no one remembers. And it has lyrics that are so incredibly sophomoric that Iâm embarrassed to have it stuck in my head. Itâs âSimply Jessieâ from the Sooner or Later soundtrack by Rex Smith. Obscure enough for you? Happy 700th post.

My random thought: How much second-hand smoke do I carry out on my clothes every time I leave the pool hall? One puffâs worth? Five? I bet itâs more like ten. Maybe cotton absorbs better than denim. My shoelaces probably smell like smoke too. I wonder if some guy trying to quit smoking cold turkey would get his fix off my clothes aloneâŚ

You no longer smell things after theyâve been there for a while, so technically, you no longer smell your nose soon after birth.
