I don’t actually care that much about posting. The only reason I maintain my charter membership is so I can search. And stalk other Dopers through their profiles. But I still post every now and then just because I can (much to the disappointment of everyone else here :p). ---

Speaking of low post rates… I subscribe because $7.50 is cheap, and I like being able to ask (and answer!) questions in GQ. I don’t really care about the other forums, although I do participate from time to time. ---

It’s under UserCP on the upper left then click on Paid Subscriptions. You should be able to renew by credit card or paypal there. ---

It can get a bit confusing at times since the word ‘subscribe’ is used to refer to both board membership and thread notifications. [QUOTE=Fiddle Peghead] Wait a minute. It also means that we’ve maintained an unbroken subscription ever since the board went pay, so we get a 50% discount. But mainly the really really cool person thing. ---

Whew, good thing this thread appeared to remind me to re-up. Anyway, I thought this charter member denomination was something about a free charter trip to some exotic charter member place. So wheres the charter trip planned this year? ---
