Evening all. Except for bringing in the garbage can post-pickup, it has been a inside day of sloth for yours truly. BLTā€™s and a banana made up dinner and almost finished with my re-read of a book so I can read the sequel starting tomorrow. Might even do something constructive on Firdayā€¦or not. **shoe** , learning and trying out a new skill helps keep us young, IMHO. Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffeinatinā€™. _YAWN_ ā€˜Tis 70 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 83 with rain off and on all day. I donā€™t like it when itā€™s this warm this time of year. This could foreshadow stuff like a tornado or straight line wind ifā€™n it gets stormy. I shall betake myself over to the church house to deal with some church janitor JW stuff (three more weeks and I am free!) and some other stuff ahead of Sundayā€™s service. We have a sub Priest who actually use to be our Priest until he retired. Also, I shall prep some stuff for tomorrowā€™s NYD feast and make up some goodies to munch on this eveninā€™. JDD and Partner are cominā€™ over to hang and stay the night cause we may get a little tipsy. Then theyā€™ll hang around and feast with us tomorrow. Just the four of us it will be. We havenā€™t had a really good silly time together for almost two years so I am lookinā€™ forward to this. Now i need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas, alack, and bother, I suppose I must needs purtify and don appropriate beinā€™ amongst the public attire. Woe is me! Happy Firday Yā€™all! ---

Morning all. It was a restless night, but I finally snatched about two hours of sleep between 3:30 and 5:30. Itā€™s about 24 degrees out and will remain cold until Saturday or Sunday when the melt is supposed to start occurring. We got another inch or two of snow yesterday too. Iā€™m sorry about your momā€™s cancer returning, **talky.** No plans other than working on my jigsaw puzzle and seeing whatā€™s new on Netflix. ---

Really hoping for torrential rain tonight to keep the fireworks idiots from terrorizing my cat. For some stupid reason, Washingtonā€™s governor allowed temporary opening of fireworks sales, and since weā€™re on the border people drive over there to buy them, even though the big bang stuff is illegal in OR. ---

OK. Weā€™re home. Iā€™ll catch up later. Right now, I need to wind down. Then I need to vacuum the various bits of Roxy detritus from Momā€™s car. We were going to have the pros clean it, but theyā€™re closed today because of the weather. Dammit. So **FCD** is going to run the outside thru a quickie wash to de-crud it and Iā€™ll do my best with the inside. Because Iā€™m nice, dammit. Iā€™m also exhausted. So once thatā€™s done, Iā€™m done for the day. Weā€™ll have grilled cheese for supperā€¦ Whew. ---

Eveninā€™ all, howā€™s the wild party prep going? I am actually headed out later to a house party- a group of students who basically all work and/or live in the same house, and weā€™re all testing before we go, so itā€™s not much of a plague risk. Iā€™m driving, and several of 'em donā€™t drink, and weā€™re all on the older side for students, so itā€™s not going to be too much of a crazy one either. Fingers crossed for a better next year! ---

Happy New Yearā€™s eve all. Iā€™m not doing anything. My sister tested positive for the virus last Monday, soā€™s Iā€™m isolating til I can get a test next monday. Frankly, I kinda like having an excuse to not go out tonight. The last 2 times I went out on new years I got in various kinds of trouble, one became an unhealthy relationship and the other was trouble with the truck. ---

I think Iā€™m caught up, but I donā€™t remember much. So hugs, smoochies, fist bumps, and gooses as appropriate. Momā€™s car is lots cleaner than it was when we got it from her. Iā€™ll take it back on Sunday. And I get to tell her that she owes us for 4 new tires. Happy New Yearā€¦ šŸ˜› **FCD** is going to sell his Harley, which makes sense. He hasnā€™t ridden it in almost 3 years. Heā€™s got to figure out one little wiring issue, then heā€™ll list it. Personally, Iā€™ll be glad to see it go. I donā€™t like motorcycles. At all. I was going to do some laundry, but itā€™ll have to wait. I just canā€™t deal with it yet. I just need to chill. ---
