I Salute thee, Paul Wilson from Cheers and other important minor-characters!

Sheesh, now I have “I’ll take you home again, Kathleen” sourly coursing its way through my brain. Big thanks. :frowning:

Actually, I’m pretty sure that’s Paul Wilson playing Dick Cheney on the Tonight Show also. He’s put on even more weight since Cheers(yikes!!!). He’s way to fat to be Cheney but then again, nearly every Clinton impersonater was too puffy.

Just to back up my assertion—

By the way, a word-search on “Baby Gerald” resulted in such delightful foreign-language finds as “Baby Gerald, das baby mit nur einer Augenbraue” and Baby Gerald, il bambino con il monociglio.” If those links work, I shall try to find some proving the Barbara Bush/Rosie the Robot and David Duchovny/Pogo connections . . .

I think Todd Susman is great. You see him in guest roles everywhere: ER, Angel, Diagnosis Murder, Grace Under Fire, (going back a ways) Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere.

But what most people don’t even know is that he was the voice of the PA announcer we heard in almost every episode of MAS*H. He wasn’t credited. Most people think that voice belonged to Gary (“Radar”) Burghoff. But no, it was Todd Susman.

You’re welcome. It always amazes me that you can’t put anything on these boards so obscure that some other Doper hasn’t heard of it.

Floyd the Barber on “The Andy Griffith Show.” Such a classic that I named my beagle after him.

Nick Tortelli and Loretta (played by the real life Ms. Casy Kasem) from Cheers. “Hi, gang of Cheers!” I also really liked Bebe Neurith (sp?) as Lilith Stearnen. When she sang “My Funny Valentine” with absolutely no inflection, no emotion, and no tune - priceless.

Another vote for Aunt Dora from Bewitched. Good call, there, Eve. I also had a Siamese cat named Dr. Bombay, just because I really like that name.
