# I saw Doom - spoilers

It wasn’t the suckitude that i read it would be. I went with the guys in my department this afternoon and generally we all liked it for the most part. The first person POV was pretty damn cool i thought. Looked better on the big screen than in the commercials. I kinda thought end fight was lame. I turned to my friend and said “Is this still Doom? What’s with the fisticuffs?”

I did have a question. When the wheelchair-bound Pinky guy was told to use and ST Grenade b/c something was breaking thru the door. . . .what exactly was coming through? It looked like a clean plasma cut in geometric shape. If it was some monster, then wouldn’t this 20" thick metal door have been ripped open?
